According to reports, Hezbollah has no issue with removing its troops from the region below the Litani River following a "reciprocal" approach, implying that Israel must simultaneously withdraw its own military personnel.
A source revealed to Al-Arabiya that the leader of the Lebanese Parliament notified the American envoy about the Shiite pair’s willingness to accept a full-scale truce.
"Security measures can be put into place right away once a truce is established in Lebanon," the sources stated.
"The representative from the Lebanese Parliament emphasizes the necessity of a full ceasefire prior to initiating any operational measures on the ground," the sources mentioned.
"The environment in Washington encourages the realization of agreements between Lebanon and Israel in the upcoming stage," the sources added.
A U.S. official also informed Al-Arabiya that Washington supports "the approach of enhancing the strength of the Lebanese Armed Forces within the framework of security agreements."
