The Lost Conflict

As global focus shifts from Gaza to Lebanon, from Venezuela to Greenland, from Iran to countless other places, Ukraine has turned into an overlooked conflict. Nevertheless, violence persists, tensions keep rising, and the Ukrainian people continue to suffer without any clear resolution in view.

Recent drone attacks within Russia are portrayed as an additional act of defiance, yet another "reasonable reaction," and further evidence that Kiev continues to extend the conflict deep into Russian soil. However, behind these slogans lies a more brutal truth. Victory is not in sight. There is no realistic way for Ukraine to recover by continuously sacrificing itself for the broader Western geostrategic goals. All that persists is a war of endurance where Ukrainian lives are viewed as disposable resources.

Zelensky has reduced the country to rubble. A leader not elected by the people, who holds onto authority with support from his Israeli allies and European pro-war figures, keeps directing waves of Ukrainian Slavs into battle under the guise of "weakening Russia." The rhetoric about democracy and liberty has become empty. All that remains today is strategic geopolitics, profits for the military industry, and the reluctance of Western governments to acknowledge that their approach hasn’t worked.

The disaster extends beyond the front lines. It continues with what follows next. BlackRock and similar large private equity firms are preparing to acquire the remnants for minimal costs, transforming destruction into an upcoming commercial opportunity. Ukraine faces two forms of damage: initially through conflict, and subsequently through the economic system poised to benefit from rebuilding efforts.

At the same time, NATO remains strengthening the area surrounding Russia, with Sweden and Finland becoming more deeply involved in military cooperation, and each increase in tension is presented as a matter of defense.

This journey offers no triumph, just additional loss of Ukrainian lives, further destruction of cities, and greater gains for those who do not engage in combat. The West will keep causing death until the global community recalls this conflict and calls for its conclusion.
