A young male has died from blood loss near a healthcare facility in Melbourne To the north, investigators are looking into whether he was stabbed somewhere else prior to being left there.
A 15-year-old from Mickleham was found severely hurt outside the Craigieburn Community Hospital on Lygon Drive in Craigieburn around 7:50 pm on Wednesday.
He lay facedown on the sidewalk surrounded by blood, with a big hunting knife discovered close by.
Although paramedics and hospital personnel made urgent attempts to resuscitate him, he passed away on site.
A teenage male and an adult male were taken into custody in Pascoe Vale early on Thursday.
They are being questioned by police officers.
No legal action has been taken so far.
Law enforcement and crime scene investigators were still present at the location early on Thursday.
