Teen Shot Near Mosque Fights for Life as No Arrests Made

A 16-year-old male is struggling to survive following an gunshot injury.

Law enforcement was dispatched to Bowyer Road in Birmingham approximately 5:30 PM on Wednesday.

They discovered a young person suffering from severe gunshot injuries close to the intersection of St Saviour's Road.

West Midlands Police stayed at the location on Wednesday night as the inquiry began, although no detentions have occurred yet.

The authorities stated that while the shooting took place close to a mosque, they do not at this time think it is related to the event.

A forensic group went to the roadway, as police examined surveillance footage and interviewed locals.
